With a tight monthly budget restraint, the house was built over a period of approximately 20 months. The Guest house and Living area wing were constructed using Superform polyblocks, with Stalhton precast beams and exposed Oregon tgv timber infills to form the first floor concrete slabs. The polyblock was sealed with two coats of mulseal sealant before the 200mm thick schist stone veneer was stacked. The entry, gallery, and bedroom wing was constructed using timber frame with a mixture of schist stone veneer and cedar weather board cladding.
